Hand Carved Italian Cameos



Because my cameo inventory is ever evolving, please do not hesitate to e-mail inquiries.
All cameos are one of a kind and the picture you see is the actual cameo.  If I have sold the one listed and haven't taken it off the site yet, I will be happy to try to find one similar.  These cameos are all hand carved in Torre del Greco, Italy, which is part of Naples.  They are also signed on the back by the artist who carved them.  These are the finest carvings available.  If you were to go to a cameo factory in Italy, the carvings would not be this fine. I pay extra to make sure that my carvings are superior to what you would find there.  I only carry the two top qualities of carvings --  first quality artistic which is the top quality; and first quality commercial which is the next highest quality.  The quality of a cameo is determined both by the depth and detail of the carving, and the translucence of the shell.
