Kathryn Holt has been a summer
resident of Mackinac Island since 1981. She resides with her
family in their cottage on the beautiful north shore. The peace
and quiet of her north shore home nurtures her love for the
island and inspires her artwork. Kathryn takes her love for
Mackinac and expresses it in her paintings of scenic locations
across the island. Oils have become her favorite medium to
express her passion for art and for Mackinac.
During the winter months she
lives in the village of Atlanta, located in Michigan's northern
lower peninsula. In addition to painting, Kathryn works as
a photographer on Mackinac and in the Atlanta area.
