Rob Harrell
Rob
Harrell has been showing his figurative oil paintings around the country for
the past twelve years. His work can be found in private collections around
the world. He is currently represented in Austin by the Wally Workman
Gallery, in San Francisco by the Hespe Gallery and of course, here on
Mackinac Island where his parents are summer residents and his family
history goes back 100 years.
From 2002 to 2007, Harrell wrote and drew the daily comic strip
‘Big Top’, which was syndicated internationally by Universal Press
Syndicate.
Harrell also works as a freelance illustrator and cartoonist. His
clients include Mad Magazine, Simon and Shuster, Time, and American
Greetings.
